2. Detailed Activity Sheet Format (80 Marks)
Focus: Reading for Comprehension, Language Study, Summary, and Mind Mapping
Extract from Section 1 of the textbook consisting of 275–300 words.
Unseen extract consisting of 275–300 words.
Write the summary of the unseen extract with a suitable title with the help of the given points/hints.
Develop a 'Mind Mapping' frame/design using your own ideas/thoughts/concepts to illustrate/develop on the given topic.
Focus: Poetry and Appreciation
Seen extract from a poem of about 10–15 lines.
Read the extract and write the appreciation as per the instructions. (Seen extract of 10–15 lines from another poem, not asked in Q.3 A)
Note: For each question (A, B, C, D), paper setters will provide all options. Students must attempt any one activity from each set. Each set carries 4 marks.
Note: Questions in this section are purely memory-based. Answers should be written in about 50 words where applicable.
Based on Textbook Content No. 4.1. Activities include MCQ, Match the columns, Chronological order, Fill in the blanks, True/False, Elements of Novel, etc. (Activities should not be repeated).

⚠️ Important Instructions for Paper Setters & Students
- Activity-Based Questions: Questions 1 to 4 are purely activity-based.
- Functional Grammar: Grammar activities must be functional (framed in an activity format) rather than standard instruction-based sentences.
- Mind Mapping Reference: The model answer for mind mapping is purely for reference and should not be treated as the absolute or exact standard.
- No Repetition: Activities must not be repeated across the activity sheet. A variety of novel activities is highly expected.
- Memory-Based Section: Section IV (Q.5 B, C, D) consists of purely memory-based questions. Even though a variety of options are provided, a similar format should not be repeated throughout Section IV.
